Living simply in the wild

Life is what happens when your busy making plans

In life we make plans. We plan what time to set the alarm in the mornings. Plan which way we are going to get to work. We plan what we are going to eat for some meals.
For months David and I have had a plan. A plan we had carefully thought out and were diligently following. You think I would’ve learned by now that when making plans you should always plan for them to change. I clearly didn’t see things transpiring the way they have the past few days but needless to say our plans have fast forwarded about 2 months. We have reevaluated things and decided that it is most important that we be together as our little family unit then apart for another two months.
In the next two weeks I have a giant to-do list to chisel away at, many good byes to say and a plane to board with two little boys and a puppy. Although we are very sad to be leaving all our family and great friends we’ve made, we are very excited to be reunited with David. This distance has been both hard and wonderful for us. Feb 26 we will be flying out to Seattle where we will be with David from there on out. There’s much to do from now till then but will update with any exciting news!

Life is all about the unplanned and the unexpected. That is where we find strength, true love and not only who we want to be but who we are currently! Missing you already.
