Living simply in the wild

Pour me a cold one

There is a huge benefit to camping by freezing cold water.

We camped by a lovely little river called “Icicle Creek” in Leavenworth, Wa.

When we go camping it is usually some pretty far off-no amenities-nothing around-no where to by ice-campsite. So we only have a tiny cooler reserved for real essentials. Keeping our drinks cold while camping is not considered essential.

So how do we enjoy a nice cold one?

Here is where that benefit kicks in…

Tie a rope to your drinks, secure the rope, and you have a cold one whenever you wish!

Do you have any creative ways to keep drinks cold while camping?
