Living simply in the wild

Wake Up Wednesday: The Hobbit Life

A modern day hobbit, living simply.

We are constantly re-evaluating our life and always wanting to live with less. Are you?

So maybe your not ready to give up your fridge or full size front door yet,
but what about downsizing your closet? Maybe giving up your microwave, television or even 2nd car. We all have things we could live without.

Tell me what your giving up!

  2. As we finish the last few days of packing necessities (and more than a few luxuries) for a family of 4 into our 32 foot travel trailer, I could give you a long list of stuff we are giving up (3/4 of the kids toys, extra TV’s, computer, big bathroom, wheelchair accessible kitchen) but I have a sneaking suspicion, we will be gaining more than we give up. Heading south for the winter, focusing on my little family, exploring new places…..

  3. We pretty much sold/gave away everything to travel the world…our house, our cars, furniture. It was the most liberating thing we have ever done!

Kerri, I love it! I love seeing how many people have taken then leap. And not one has ever regretted it. Of course that’s not to say there aren’t hard times. But given the chance to have their ‘old life back’ i know done that would take it. Congrats friend! You’re amazing 🙂
